About SolveMath

We build AI-based tools that help students learn — not just copy answers. A quorum of AI models works through each problem step by step, and every answer is verified by deterministic math before a student ever sees it.

Our Mission

Millions of students around the world struggle with STEM homework every night. Existing tools either dump answers without explanation or hallucinate wrong ones with confidence. Neither helps students actually learn.

SolveMath was built to fix that. We combine multiple AI models with deterministic mathematical verification — every numeric answer is double-checked by Python (sympy and scipy) before it reaches the student. If the verifier disagrees, the answer doesn't ship.

Our Hint Mode goes further: instead of giving the answer, it breaks the problem into structured steps and asks leading questions so students finish the work themselves. Same camera, same OCR, completely different educational outcome.

How We're Different

5-Model AI Quorum with Steps

Instead of trusting a single AI, SolveMath runs Gemini 2.5 Pro, Claude Sonnet 4.5, GPT-4o, and others in parallel. Each model breaks the problem into solution steps; the quorum compares paths and only consensus answers pass through to verification.

Deterministic Verification

Every numeric answer is plugged back into the original equation using sympy and scipy. Differentiate, substitute, evaluate — if Python disagrees, the student never sees it.

Hint Mode for Honest Learning

Toggle into Socratic mode and SolveMath guides students through the technique with leading questions. Schools and parents approve because the student does the work.

Five Subjects, One Engine

Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics — all powered by the same verified AI pipeline, tailored per domain. Switch subjects with a single tap.

Our Technology

SolveMath's core pipeline processes problems through three stages:

1

OCR & Understanding — Advanced vision models read handwritten, printed, or photographed problems and restate them for confirmation.

2

Multi-Model Step Consensus — Multiple frontier AIs each propose a step-by-step solution path. The quorum compares approaches and only agreed results proceed.

3

Deterministic Verification — Python (sympy + scipy) plugs the proposed answer back into the original problem. Only verified results are shown to the student.

The app supports 18 languages — math notation stays universal while explanations switch to the student's preferred language. Solutions are rendered with KaTeX for clean, publication-quality mathematical typesetting.

The Company

SolveMath is built by a team of engineers and educators who believe that AI should make students smarter, not lazier. We are based in the United States and focused on delivering the most accurate, trustworthy STEM homework assistance available.
